College of the Mainland is committed to offering flexible learning options to meet the needs of all learners. Accordingly, the Nursing Department is pleased to announce the launch of its online pre-nursing orientation.

Through the new online system, potential nursing applicants will have access to a convenient digital platform where they can view the pre-nursing orientation online at www.com.edu/nursing/pno. Upon completing the orientation, applicants will need to pass the corresponding assessment with a minimum score of 75 percent before applying to any COM nursing program.

“While traditionally our pre-nursing orientation has been offered through live sessions or by appointment only, we understand the value of convenience as students often prioritize flexibility when exploring their pursuits in higher learning,” said Amanda Ordonez, director of nursing.

In addition to convenience and flexibility, the College of the Mainland Nursing Program prepares students for the rigor of a career in the healthcare industry through interactive labs, faculty mentors and clinical rotations at state-of-the-art facilities.
