Feel the beat during a free performance by the COM Concert Band April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the College of the Mainland Fine Arts Building Recital Hall.

Directed by Sparky Koerner, the band will play favorites from “Star Trek” to the jazz classic “What a Wonderful World.”

Selections also include a medley of American music “Yankee Doodle,” “Shenandoah” and “America the Beautiful.”

The COM Concert Band is open to COM students and musicians in the community.
