Explore the towering Canadian Rockies and rustic New England trails in two College of the Mainland Lifelong Learning Program trips, open to adults of all ages.

A travel presentation detailing the breathtaking, affordable trips will be held Jan. 29 at 3:30 p.m. at the COM Learning Center-Delmar, 1130 Delmar in La Marque.

Both trips are eight days. Tours include airfare, some meals, daily sightseeing and admission fees, professional tour director, baggage handling, cancellation waiver and a post-departure plan.
 
The trip Canadian Rockies Via Rail departs June 17, 2015, and costs $4,095 per person for a double occupancy room. It covers three national parks, two islands and the Athabasca Glacier Ice Explorer.

New England Rails and Trails departs Oct. 3, 2015, and costs  $2,840 per person for a double occupancy room. The tour spans Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire highlights from the Maple Sugar Farm to Hollow Cider Mills, plus attendees will follow in the footsteps of Paul Revere.
