Application Instructions for Transfer Students

  1. Complete the online application.

    After submitting your application through ApplyTexas, please allow three to five working days for processing. To check on your application status, please go to WebAdvisor through the COM website.

    *Please note: If you do not give your Social Security number, your application's processing will be delayed. The ApplyTexas application is not an application for financial aid. Please refer to the financial aid web page for financial aid information.

  2. Arrange for official transcripts from all former institutions to be received by the Office of Admissions and Records prior to being admitted. Transcripts are considered official only when received electronically, through the mail or in a sealed envelope.

  3. All new COM students under age 22 must submit evidence of meningococcal meningitis vaccination. The vaccine must have been taken within the past five years and at least 10 days before the start of class.
  4. Apply for Financial Aid

  5. Complete Student Financial Agreement in Student Self-Service.
  6. Meet with an advisor.
