Entrepreneurs have the vision to succeed, and the entrepreneur emphasis helps students discover how to make their dreams a reality.
With a broad range of courses in accounting, marketing, human resources and small business operations, and web design/advertising, the entrepreneurship certificate and Associate of Applied Science in business administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship provide the tools for success.
The entrepreneurship track offers an Entrepreneurship Certificate, which leads to an Associate of Applied Science in business administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship

Certificate – Entrepreneurship
This program is designed as a one-year certificate for students who wish to pursue a career in Entrepreneurship.
Associate of Applied Science – Business Administration – Entrepreneurship
This program is designed for students who plan to start or further their career in a business field. While the AAS degree is not designed to fully transfer to a four-year university, it can serve to fulfill several transfer course requirements.
Jobs Typically Involve
- Planning, launching, and managing small businesses or startups
- Developing business plans, budgets, and basic financial reports
- Managing daily operations such as scheduling, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Providing customer service and building client relationships
Supporting sales efforts, pricing strategies, and revenue tracking - Supervising employees or coordinating team activities in small business settings
- Identifying new business opportunities and solving operational challenges
