A regular meeting of the board of trustees of College of the Mainland was held on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. in the Doyle Family Administration Building – Room 129.

All trustees were present. 

Board Items of Interest

Marketing and Public Affairs executive director Diane Burkett presented on COM’s new virtual tour.

Human Resources:

  • Diane Glowacki was approved for the position of Accountant in the Financial Services Department.
  • Luke Turner was approved for the position of Chemistry Faculty in the Science Department.

The non-contractual hiring report was approved.

The board approved an increase to contract 20-29 awarded to Austin Commercial for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services in support of the Level 4 shell space build-out in the STEAM building for an additional Not-to-Exceed (NTE) of $2,421,099.

All other agenda items were approved.
