College of the Mainland provides multiple computer labs across campus to ensure you have the tools needed to complete your coursework and research. Whether you need specialized software, high-speed internet, or a quiet place to study, our labs are here to support your academic journey.
Available Resources
Every COM computer lab is equipped to help you stay productive:
- High-Speed Internet: Fast, reliable access for research and online assignments.
- Standard & Specialized Software: Access Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and program-specific applications.
- Printing Services: Current COM students can print school-related black-and-white material for free.
All color print jobs and print jobs (not related to schoolwork):
- Color print jobs are 10 cents per copy.
- B/W print jobs are 5 cents per copy.
- Technical Support: Lab assistants are on-site to help with login issues or basic software navigation.
Lab Guidelines & Locations
Intro: To ensure a productive environment for everyone, we ask that all users follow these simple rules:
- Student ID Required: Have your COM ID ready to sign in or verify enrollment.
- Minors (under 16): Please be advised that minors under the age of 16 are not allowed to be in the Library Computer Lab unless they are an enrolled student at COM.
- Academic Focus: Priority is given to students completing school-related tasks.
- Courtesy: Use headphones for audio and keep phone conversations outside the lab.
- Responsible Use: Follow the COM Acceptable Use Policy for all technology and internet activities.

Learning Resource Center (LRC) / Library Lab
Primary Use: Research and quiet study.
The Library Computer Lab has one Apple PC, 51 Windows PCs, one Cannon printer, a sheet feed scanner, and a KIC document scanner.
Hours:
- Monday - Thursday (7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.)
- Friday (7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
- Saturdays (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
- Sunday (closed)

The Tutoring Center (ICB Building)
Primary Use: Equipped with Microsoft Office 365, specialized course software, and secure internet access.
Also, get walk-in or scheduled assistance for math, writing, science, and more while you work on your assignments.
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday (8 a.m. - 8 p.m.)
- Friday (8 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
- Saturday (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
