The first three items below are tools and will be a one-time expense. They can be purchased as individual tools at Hobby Lobby or Amazon (Michael’s no longer sells mosaic supplies). Amazon also sells them as a set, with one additional tool that can come in handy. The set comes in a carrying case. You can find the set by searching “Hilitchi 5pc” on Amazon. It should be the first search result and is around $56. If you want to buy them individually simply search for the tool name.

  • GLASS CUTTER
  • GLASS NIPPERS (They should have 2 wheels on them. Be careful not to confuse them with Tile Nippers which do not have wheels.)
  • RUNNING PLIERS (don’t buy plastic ones)

The adhesives below can be purchased at most craft stores, Walmart or Amazon.

  • ADHESIVES
    Weldbond (For indoor projects.)
CLEAR E6000 (For outdoor projects. Be sure to get clear, not white or black.)
  • EYE PROTECTION
If you don’t already wear glasses, you’ll want to get safety glasses to protect your eyes. The best ones can be purchased at a big box store. Please don’t get them from a dollar store.
  • OLD BATH TOWEL
  • SCOTCH TAPE
  • SHARPIES (BLACK AND SILVER)
  • PENCIL

There is quite a bit of glass available in the classroom. I suggest using it for your first project, then if you’d like to purchase specific glass for subsequent projects you can do so.

Other supplies such as a large glass cutter, cutting board, ruler, grout, graphite paper, tracing paper, etc. are available for use in the class.
