Necessary tools for glass work ($40):

  • Glass cutter pistol grip for scoring (Hobby Lobby)
  • Glass Running tool (Hobby Lobby)
  • 12”x12” Mat for cutting glass (fabric store or Walmart)
  • Paper towels (Bounty preferred)
  • 3-in-1 Oil (Home Depot or Lowes, very small bottle)
  • 90% Alcohol mixed with white vinegar (70/30 mix)
  • Silver Sharpie
  • 3 Ring Notebook
  • Liquid hair spray, used as glue (cheap & unscented)
  • Tweezers
  • Small sealed container for 3-1 oil
  • Small containers for glass scraps
  • Straight edge tool, minimum 12” long
  • 1 black permanent marker, fine line
  • 12-inch ruler W/16th inch markings
  • Q-tips in small container
  • Old cookie tray for glass projects (8x10)
  • Band aids
  • Face mask, paper (Home Depot)

Additional supplies

  • Acetone nail polish remover (nice to have)
  • 3 small art brushes (flat angled, sharp, & rd)
  • Blue painters tape
  • Tool box
  • Scissors
  • Protractor or templates for circles (nice to have)
  • Old wide paint brush to sweep are for glass clippings
