Procedures for Conducting Research

Researchers wishing to conduct research at College of the Mainland must first seek approval from the Office of Institutional Research.

All research involving Human Subjects must be conducted in accordance with the regulations set forth by the Office of Human Research Protection. As such, researchers wishing to conduct research in cooperation with the College of the Mainland must first receive approval from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects from their sponsoring institution or agency. A completed copy of the IRB/Human Subjects form, with approval, should be submitted to the Institutional Research Team for Review.
