Program level assessment
Prior to September 1st - Complete Assessment Plan for program level learner outcomes scheduled for assessment in the coming Academic year (1st three columns of the Program level student learner outcomes assessment chart). Submit chart to General Education Assessment Committee. (Send to Steve Sewell as email attachment)
September 1st - begin assessment activities
October 1st - submit completed charts for previous academic year to the General Education Assessment Committee (Send to Steve Sewell as email attachment)
Reminder: All program level outcomes must be assessed prior to October 1st 2008 for report due to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board due in 2009.
Course level assessment
Prior to beginning of each semester - Complete 1st three columns of the course level assessment chart. Faculty in each discipline should assess an agreed upon set of learner outcomes for each course in that discipline that is on the general education course level assessment list (See attached list). Every faculty member will submit a chart for each class on that list that they teach that semester. (Send to Steve Sewell as email attachment)
Beginning of each semester - begin assessment activities
End of each semester - submit completed assessment charts to the General Education Committee. (Send to Steve Sewell as email attachment)
