Occupational Safety and Health Technology
The curriculum is approved and we will teach a full load of courses both day and evening for Fall and Spring semesters. In order to sign up for the classes, you must first apply for admission to the college. Read about Getting Started at COM. Begin early, as the application process may take a few days. Curriculum
The curriculum is finalized and the classes required for the associates degree are:
- ENGL 1301 - English Composition
- ENGL 2311 - Technical and Business Writing
- MATH 1314 - College Algebra or higher Math
- COSC 1301 - Microcomputer Applications
- PSYC 2301 or SOCI 1301 - Introduction to Psychology or Sociology
- PHED 1107 - Physical Education - Foundations of Fitness and Wellness
- CHEM 1411 - General Chemistry I
- 3 hour Humanities / Fine Arts Elective
- 4 hour Science Elective - General Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Physical Geology, or College Physics.
