Cosmetology at COM
Cosmetology Operator Certificate
The Cosmetology Operator Certificate is designed to provide students with the technical background, quality education and the experience necessary to pass the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations exam. All aspects of the Cosmetology profession are presented, allowing each student to develop the skills and knowledge required to obtain an entry-level position in a professional salon.
Full-time students may complete the program in a year by meeting Monday through Friday. Part-time students may complete the program within 24 months or at his/her own pace.

If a student drops or is dropped from Orientation Class he/she will be dropped from all Cosmetology classes.

| TDLR Operator Kit and Mannequin - Kit | $595.95 + tax (Approximately $250 in additional supplies-total for the program). Prices subject to change. |
| Class supplies include tools, mannequins and hairdresser supplies: rods, rollers, clips, carrying bag, cutlery, dryer, brushes, combs, manicure and pedicure supplies. Additional mannequins as needed, usually two to three per semester at $25 to $35 each. | |
