Cosmetology at COM
High School Operator Certificate
The High School Operator Certificate is designed to provide current high school students with a quality education in the cosmetology field and prepare the student to pass the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations for licensing. The Operator Certificate covers of all areas of cosmetology including hair, nails and skin.
High school students typically begin the fall semester of their junior year.
View the COM Catalog online or obtain a COM Catalog book from Admissions for detailed COURSE DESCRIPTIONS and PREREQUISITES of all classes. Successful completion of academic courses required for high school diploma is required.
All courses and clock hours must be completed prior to high school graduation.
