A. Tuition
Tuition is dependent on the number of credits taken per semester and if the student is in district or out of district. View the current Tuition and Fee Schedule or view the COM catalog available online at www.com.edu/catalog or in the Admissions Office for a listing of the cost per credit hour. includes those who have established residency in Arcadia, Alta Loma, Bacliff, Bayou
Vista, Dickinson, Hitchcock, La Marque and San Leon.
B. Books *
The total cost of books is determined by the certificate being obtained.

C. Uniforms- ALL STUDENTS
- Black pants (no jeans, no stretch pants). Capris are acceptable but must be below the knee.
- Black closed-toe shoes, closed heels.
- Black, white or gray solid shirts.
- Black aprons will still be acceptable but not required. They must be black.
- Lab jacket available in the bookstore.
- Must be professional.
D. Cosmetology Kits *
| TDLR Operator Kit and Mannequin - Kit | $595.95 + tax (Approximately $250 in additional supplies-total for the program). Prices subject to change. |
| Class supplies include tools, mannequins and hairdresser supplies: rods, rollers, clips, carrying bag, cutlery, dryer, brushes, combs, manicure and pedicure supplies. Additional mannequins as needed, usually two to three per semester at $25 to $35 each. | |
| TDLR Nail Tech. Kit - Kit | $101.95 + tax (approximately $125 for supplies). Includes supplies needed for manicure and pedicure, artificial nails and carry case. |
| TDLR Facial Kit - Kit | $261.95 + tax (approximately $75 for supplies). Includes supplies needed for basic facial and sheets. |

Books and Kits are available in the COM Campus Bookstore, which is open Monday and Tuesday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., and Wednesday through Friday until 5 p.m. Call extension 239.
E. Application Fees
Two wallet size self photos, copy of drivers license, GED or high school diploma and registration slip are needed at mandatory New Cosmetology Student Orientation which is held at 6 p.m. the Thursday before classes begin. Also, students need to be aware that there is an additional $10 fee per class per semester and an additional $10 lab fee per class per semester.
