Cosmetology Certificate Program Overview
The Cosmetology Certificate program offers opportunities for full-time or part-time students to complete requirements for a Cosmetology Operator Certificate, Manicurist Certificate or Facial Specialist Certificate by satisfying requirements submitted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR) and College of the Mainland. The goal of the program is to provide students with the skills and the theoretical foundation to become exceptional cosmetologists. Completion of the required courses for each curriculum will prepare the students to acquire the mandatory hours of instruction necessary to become eligible to take the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations Examination for license in Texas.
