Additional Information
- Students will be registered for classes by the Advising Department.
- In order to meet industry demands on licensed individuals, applicants should be in good physical and mental health. Applicants should be able to stand and work gross and fine motor skills for extended periods of time.
- Upon acceptance into the Cosmetology Program, applicants must provide and meet all TDLR requirements listed in the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations Handbook.
- Transfer students with 500 or more Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation clock hours must successfully complete a Credit by Examination with the Cosmetology Department in order for upper-level course placement. Transcript review is necessary to see if previous courses meet requirements for the Cosmetology Certificate.
- Cosmetology Operator Instructor's students require additional labs that must be scheduled with course instructor.

Readmission Requirements
- Applicants for readmission must have at least a 2.0 G.P.A. in all Cosmetology courses.
- Transcripts reflecting a 'D' grade or lesser will require the course be repeated by the student.
