Graphic Design Certificate

This concentrated certificate program in Digital Publishing is designed to teach students the basic skills necessary to find a job in the Graphic Arts industry. Through hands-on individual and group activities students learn the principles of visual communication, the basic levels of design, typography, color systems, basic web design, and printing processes. Students receive up-to-date training on leading industry hardware and software. An internship helps bridge the gap from formal training to full time employment.
Web Design Certificate

The Web Design certificate is designed to teach students the basic skills necessary to find a job in the Graphic Arts industry as a Web Designer. Through hands-on individual and group activities students learn the principles of visual communication as they relate to; design, typography, color systems, web design, 3-D animation and video production. Students receive up-to-date training on leading industry hardware and software. An internship helps bridge the gap from formal training to full time employment.

Associate of Applied Science Degree

The Applied Graphic Design/Web Design/3-D Animation of Applied Science Degree is designed to train students for the field of Digital Publishing, Multimedia Technology, Web Design and 3-D Animation. Students receive a strong background in traditional graphic arts together with state-of-the-art, hands-on training in digital publishing, imaging, graphics, 3-D animation, web design, and interactive multimedia. Students work with the same hardware and software used by industry to create professional-level business packages, advertising layouts, illustrations, multimedia presentations, 3-D animation, web pages, and interface design. An Internship program helps bridge the gap from formal training to full time employment. Articulation agreements exist between local high schools for this program.
