Faculty and Staff Services
You work hard. You set goals, create lesson plans and work with students in the classroom setting.
Wouldn’t it be nice to get a little help?
You already know that the Speaking, Reading and Writing Center provides assistance to students, staff, faculty members and alumni on any phase of the writing and oral presentation process.
The SRWC offers the following services:
Instructors can request a 10-15 minute informal presentation about center services. Handouts, brochures and Q&A included.
Instructors can request a classroom visit by a professional tutor to provide information on any phase of the speech or writing process. Tutors can model peer-tutoring strategies, work with groups or individual students, and deliver handouts and tip sheets on a variety of writing and speech topics.
We offer online tutoring through WC Online, a web-based service that gives students real-time access to tutoring sessions. Students can also make their own appointments online at com.mywconline.com.
Safe Assign assistance
The SRWC offers assistance for faculty and staff members interested in learning more about Safe Assign’s plagiarism-prevention online service.
