College of the Mainland Police Department

HyperAlert

College of the Mainland has implemented the HyperAlert system to improve the College's ability to communicate unscheduled school closings and emergency notifications to students, faculty, and staff.

Students

Current students' phone numbers and com.edu e-mail addresses are periodically provided by COM to HyperAlert for your convenience. All students must stop by the Admissions Office to update their contact information which will then be reflected in the HyperAlert Emergency Notification System.

College of the Mainland may occasionally send non-emergency notifications via e-mail only to students for important dates, deadlines, and class cancellations.

COM encourages students to actively use your com.edu e-mail addresses for communication with the College. For more information, visit www.com.edu/help.

Faculty and Staff

All faculty and staff are encouraged to activate HyperAlert by logging in and updating your contact information with your current phone number(s) and/or e-mail addresses. Also, please notify the Human Resources Office to keep your contact information up to date.
