COM educates more than 3,900 credit and 1,050 continuing education students each year. Since we opened in 1967, thousands of people have taken advantage of our dynamic programs to earn the knowledge and skills needed to achieve brighter futures. You could be next!

Current Academic Student Demographics
Academic students are those individuals pursuing traditional associate degrees. As of spring 2010, there are 1,823 academic students enrolled at COM. The academic student population primarily is Caucasian (58%), female (62%), between the ages of 18 and 24 years and attends school part-time.
Current Workforce Development Student Demographics
Workforce development students are those individuals pursuing technical certifications. As of spring 2010, COM has 2,093 workforce students enrolled on campus. These students are primarily 18-34 years old and represent the non-traditional student who is interested in flexibility and part-time educational opportunities. These students may also be adults who are experiencing transition due to job loss or understand the need for continued education to remain competitive in the work environment.
