Academic Success

The Academic Success Lab is located in room L-248 on the third floor of the LRC Building. The primary focus of the lab is to assist the students enrolled in the developmental reading and writing classes with their assigned work as well as with any extra practice needed. However, the use of the lab is extended to all College of the Mainland students, and the lab personnel are eager to assist all users.

Business and Computer Technologies

The BCT Lab specializes in assisting students for all Business and Computer Technology classes.

Innovations

Innovations Lab, located in Room T-1324 of the Technical Vocational Building, has been established to provide all College of the Mainland students the opportunity to augment their learning through the use of microcomputers. The lab is staffed with personnel ready and willing to assist users. Register with the attendant at the front desk in order to be assigned to the appropriate computer. A validated current COM I.D. is required for admittance.

Library Computer Lab

The Library Lab is located on the main floor of the Library. The main purpose of the Library Lab is to provide access to college level research for COM students. Computers in the lab and classroom provide access to the Internet, Library catalog and databases with hundreds of thousands of articles, thousands of eBooks and the extensive COM Library web site, designed to help users find the information they need. The COM Library Lab is open to COM students, faculty staff and community.
