Book signing with Galveston author at COM April 2

College of the Mainland will host a book signing with Amanda Albright Still, author of “The Galveston Hurricane Mystery Series,” April 2 from 1-3 p.m. at the COM Learning Center-Delmar, located at 1130 Delmar in La Marque.

Blending mystery and historical fiction with a dash of the paranormal, Albright Still’s novels center on a Galveston woman who survived one of the worst natural disasters in American history. After losing everything, she struggles to make a life for herself and her daughters in the devastated city.
 
“Brides of the Storm” and “Echoes of the Storm” are published by Gone Feral Publishing.
 
Albright Still makes her home in Galveston, where she and her family are restoring a Victorian home.
