Music, artifacts and dance told the story of America’s first people at College of the Mainland’s annual Native American Celebration. Grass dancer Kirk Archambault performed traditional dances in native regalia. He makes his home at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Reservation in South Dakota.

Lipan Apache Chance Landry played the song “Way of Life” on the flute at College of the Mainland’s annual Native American Heritage Month Celebration. Landry is curator of the Southern Apache Museum in Houston.
