30 seconds to an answer

Posted on: August 30, 2013

This fall, students and staff can find late-night, last-minute help via the Atomic Learning website. The site features 30-second to three-minute video tutorials on topics from plagiarism to Photoshop. Students wondering how to cite in APA or MLA style can find answers fast. Students can also glean presentation tips or discover how to use programs such as AutoCAD, Dreamweaver, Skype and Javascript.

Atomic Learning's more than 50,000 videos are easily searchable and new ones are added monthly. Users can also tag videos on their favorites list for future reference.

Students and staff can login at www.AtomicLearning.com/login/com via their WebAdvisor password, and faculty may link to Atomic Learning videos via Blackboard.

Faculty and staff may also watch videos for professional development and request certificates from Instructional Technology. For more information, email mwillis@com.edu.
