vision of this strategic diversity
plan is to assist
and facilitate the
College’s overall vision to prepare
our students to live and work in a diverse
and global environment by demonstrating
respect for diversity in creating relationships,
policies, and procedures that support
individual differences.
DIVERSITY MISSION STATEMENT
The
mission of this strategic diversity
plan is to increase
minority representation
of Faculty and Administrators in order
to achieve the College’s overall
mission of being a learner-centered institution
dedicated to student success. This mission
is supported by the following three (3)
goals:
Goal
1: Offer educational and training
experiences to expand awareness, knowledge,
and cultural competencies that aid in
understanding and management of institutional
diversity.
Goal
2: Promote polices, practices,
and procedures that provide opportunities
to increase minority representation of
Faculty and Administrators.
Goal
3: To encourage and promote a pedagogically
sound curriculum that reflects the pluralism
of our society.
