FUNDAMENTALS OF CRIMINAL LAW

This course studies the nature of criminal law; philosophical and historical development; major definitions and concepts; classification of crime; elements of crime; elements of crimes and penalties using The Texas Penal Code as illustrations; criminal responsibility. Prerequisite: CPT of 78. This is an academic transfer course. This course might be part of a Tech Prep Program. See Tech Prep Program listing under "Student Information."
