Associate of Applied Science – Cosmetology Instructor

The Associate of Applied Science degree plan in cosmetology instructor is designed to work with the certificate program. In addition to cosmetology instructor courses, the student will take freshman and sophomore-level college courses. These courses will help prepare the student for a career in instruction. In order to be employed in higher education at the community college or high school level, the Associate of Applied Science degree is necessary. The student who completes the Associate of Applied Science degree as well as becomes a licensed cosmetology instructor will have more opportunities for employment. The following is a suggested course of study for students beginning the program in the fall.
