From the author of "Red Herring," this hilarious, lightning-fast comedy is set in a medieval monastery that is down on its luck. Its patron saint hasn't worked a miracle in 13 years and pilgrims have stopped visiting... and donating. To get back on top before the Pope arrives for a visit, the monks concoct an outrageous new way to pay old debts.
Affable Elwood P. Dowd has a kind word for everyone he meets. He lives a quiet life with his social-climbing sister and her daughter and is devoted to his loyal and trustworthy friend and constant companion, Harvey. The fact that Harvey happens to be a six-foot tall invisible rabbit doesn't seem to bother Elwood but is an ongoing embarrassment to his family who decides to have him committed. In this Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy, the medical establishment is turned topsy-turvy as Elwood and Harvey cause pandemonium.
This musical comedy features five sketches about the hunt for true love set in five different restaurants and five different musical styles. A funny, light-hearted romp that offers music to match each setting from Texas barbecue to Italian to German to Mexican to All-American diner.
It's summer, 1984, and Eddie has a plan to steal two million dollars off a boat in the Chesapeake Bay -- now he just needs a crew to pull it off. But when these schemers and dreamers collide with three tough and sultry broads, the course to a fortune is threatened by more than bad weather. "The Lady Swims Today" is a drama in the tradition of Bogart and Bacall in "Key Largo," with film noir shadows and flashes of comedy.
This Neil Simon comedy focuses on aging Al Lewis and Willy Clark, a one-time vaudevillian team known as "Lewis and Clark" who, over the course of forty-odd years, not only grew to hate each other but never spoke to each other off-stage throughout the final year of their act. Asked to reunite for a special on the history of comedy, the two men must find a way to rehearse without killing each other.
This sizzling musical of murder and seduction turned Broadway on its ear - now it's ready to "razzle dazzle" COM audiences with its pulse-racing story of a pair of sexy murderesses craving the celebrity spotlight in 1920's Chicago. Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly vie for star billing on death row, hoping the publicity will catapult them to fame, freedom and stardom! With a wildly entertaining cast of characters, heart-stopping dance numbers, and a dazzling Kander and Ebb score, "Chicago" is a sure-fire hit!
