"Field of Study" program means a sequence of courses in addition to a portion or all of the Core Curriculum that will satisfy the lower division requirements toward a bachelor's of arts, a bachelor's of science, or a bachelor's of business administration degree in a specific academic area at a general academic teaching institution. The transfer of these courses toward a bachelor's degree in these specific areas is guaranteed at any state university in the state of Texas. Field of Study programs can result in either the Associate of Arts or the Associate of Science degree. College of the Mainland offers the following Field of Study programs:
- Business
- Computer Science
- Music
